On February 24, 2026, the Lady Rays beach volleyball team faced the Seahawks of Community School of Naples. The Lady Rays had a clean sweep, with all three pairs winning their matches. 

All three pairs showed effort, teamwork, and the determination to win from the first point to the last. Pair one and pair three set the tone early on in the match. When it was pair two’s turn to play, they remained consistent and kept applying the pressure. 

Pair one worked together during the whole match, with different strategies, putting pressure on the opponents, making it difficult for them to score. By staying focused and not giving up, they were able to finish their match strong, making that win well-deserved. 

Although the second pair played last, they kept up the momentum. They showed great teamwork and remained calm during the longer rallies. They were able to secure the clean sweep over CSN. 

Pair three stepped onto the court ready to win. Playing with confidence and energy from the first point. They were able to keep their opponents honest and make it hard for them to score. Their smart play helped them build momentum during the match. By working together, they were able to close out their match. 

The weather was not on anyone’s side either. It was a cold day to play beach volleyball, and the wind was not helping anyone stay warm or know where the ball was going to go. 

Overall, it was a great day for the Lady Rays beach volleyball team. The players showed effort, great attitude, and teamwork throughout all three matches. With this win, the team continues to build confidence as the season continues onward. The Lady Rays will be taking the sand again on March 3, 2026, at 3:30 pm against the Stingrays of Seacrest Country Day at Paradise Coast Sports Complex.
