1. The volleyball team played in the district finals match

During the 2025 season, the Lady Rays advanced to the 2A District 9 championship. After competing at such a high level all year, the team’s district finalist run was a huge accomplishment. This major milestone in the program marks the level of competition and their ability to compete with the best of the best. 

2.  Volleyball hosting regionals for the first time in program history

The volleyball program hosted the regional quarterfinals for the first time in program history. This major achievement not only highlighted the team as a whole but also opened up a whole new level of possibilities for the program. Hosting a major event like this shows how far the program has grown. 

      3.  Boys Soccer winning PCAC championship

The boys’ soccer team made its mark on MIA this year by winning the PCAC Championship. This victory not only showcased skill but also showed their dedication and their ability to win tough matches. This is not only a huge accomplishment for the team but for the program as well. 

    4. The baseball program made a comeback to MIA after a year without a team

Baseball made its return to MIA this year. After the program was inactive last year, the baseball team made its comeback. Restarting a program is never easy, but it shows their dedication to the sport. This year, baseball at MIA was brought back to life. 

  5. Kaden Latrell went to the state tournament for golf

Kaden Latrell represented MIA in the state golf tournament. This is a very impressive accomplishment for Kaden. Competing at this level requires hard work and dedication, and this achievement shows just that. 

      6. MIA Football won a playoff game against Babcock 35-0

The MIA football team gave a dominant performance in the first round of playoffs with a 35-0 win against Babcock High School. This win was a statement showing how well-rounded the team is on offense and defense. With a new coaching staff for this past season, this win meant so much more to everyone.

7. The most wins the football team has had in 9 years 

This football season also marked the most amount of games won in 9 years. The turnaround shows all of the hard work paying off as the new coaches and players work towards rebuilding the program and turning it around. 

     8. Baseball won its first game after not having a program during the 24-25 season against Mason Classical Academy, 25-3

Baseball celebrated another huge accomplishment by winning its first game after not having a program for a season. They defeated Mason Classical Academy with a score of 25-3. This victory shows the team’s hard work and determination to rebuild the program from scratch. 

     9. Volleyball team sweeps Neumann for the first time in program history

The volleyball team achieved another accomplishment by sweeping the Celtics of Saint John Neumann. While the teams have faced each other in the past, this past season was the first time the Lady Rays were able to win three straight sets. This shows the teams dominanace, proving they can compete with rival teams. 

 10. Madison Stolinas broke the record for the most amount of career assists in Collier County, Lee County, and the MIA school record 

This season, senior setter Madison Stolinas set the record of 2,902 career assists, the most in Collier County, Lee County, and in school history. Her achievement reflects years of dedication and hard work. As Madison graduates, she leaves a lasting legacy as one of the program’s most successful setters.
