MIA’s Culinary Club hosted a smoothie bar in the Manta Ray Cafe.

On Tuesday, October 31st, MIA’s Culinary Club hosted a smoothie bar in the Manta Ray Lobby before school.

The club, just revived in the 2023-2024 school year, had its first event where they sold Halloween-themed smoothies to the student body. The club offered a choice of two flavors – one with peach, pineapple, and mango, and the other being wild berry.

The smoothie bar thrived with business until the bell rang for students to go to mentoring. By the end of the morning, the bar had attained a profit of over $130.

MIA’s Culinary Club plans to host more events similar to this as the year goes on, and is excited to be reintroduced to the MIA community.
