Marco Island Academy’s volleyball team played another great game last night.

On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the Lady Rays headed to Seacrest, to face the Stingrays for the district semi-finals. Unfortunately, the Lady Rays took a tough defeat, ending the game with 0-3. The final scores of each set were 14-25, 17-25, 16-25.

Leading the Lady Rays was Jenna Ragan with nine digs and five kills, and Jayden Ragan with an ace, eight digs, and a kill. Following were Sophie Ogdin with seven digs, Madison Stolinas with a kill and three digs, and Sidney Legros with a kill. Dominating on the court was Rylee Howard with six kills and a pair of digs, and Medney Garraux with 11 kills, an ace, and 11 digs.

However, this does not mean this is the end of their season, it is still undecided if the Lady Rays are qualified for regionals. They are excited about what is to come next!

Go Rays!
