On October 4th, 2023, the Lady Rays battled the Seahawks at the Community School of Naples. Unfortunately, they were defeated; however, they managed to take a set from them, tallying to a score of 1-3. The final scores were 18-25, 18-25, 26-24, 16-25.
Leading the Lady Rays were Jenna Ragan with 12 digs and 14 kills, and Jayden Ragan with 17 digs and two kills. Assisting in the game were Madison Stolinas with seven digs and a pair of aces, and Rylee Howard had a pair of digs and five kills. Not far behind was Sophia Ogdin with six digs, and Medney Garraux with 11 digs, three aces, and 16 kills.
Today, the Lady Rays were supposed to face off against Southwest Florida Christian Academy, but unfortunately, the game was canceled. The girls look forward to proving themselves on the court next game.
