General Announcements

Hey Juniors – Don’t forget to check out the updates in your Class’ Google Classroom!  It’s never too early to start prepping for the SAT, especially the free one that will be offered on our campus on Wednesday, March 2, which is coming up NEXT WEEK!

Athletics: 
Baseball:  Thanks to everyone who came out to support our baseball team.  Our Rays fell 19-13 but will build on that and come back stronger.  The team travels to Golden Gate HS for a 6 p.m. game on Friday.  

Tennis:  Good luck to our boys’ and girls’ tennis teams today. Our Rays take on the Bears of Palmetto Ridge High School. The boys are home and the girls are away.  Teachers, please remember to release the girls at 2:15 p.m.  

Track:  Good luck to our track team today at Naples High School!

Activities:  

Spanish National Honor Society: We don’t talk about Bruno, no, no, no…did somebody say Encanto?!  That’s right! It’s movie night! Spanish Honor Society is hosting a free movie night tomorrow,  Thursday, February 24th, at 6 pm on the lookout lounge! In the case of inclement weather, the event will move to the student mezzanine.  Tickets are FREE and are available now! We will also have snacks and drinks for sale! See you there!

Manta Motors – Rev your engines! The MIA car club, Manta Motors, will be having their first meeting next Monday after school. Join for car talk, car meets, and more. Don’t be running late!

The Little Mermaid – The Little Mermaid rehearsals continue today with the full cast.  Please check Band for any updates.  Stage Crew is needed this week, please see Mr. Dayett for more details.

Thespians – We are exactly 3 weeks away from the State competition. Now is the time to start rehearsing and perfecting your pieces. Bad Wisdom – now is the time to dust off your scripts and get ready to rehearse! Friday is the last Thespian meeting before the competition, so bring all of your questions and any outstanding payments. Updates on Band will begin this week as well, so make sure you have your notifications turned on.

Science National Honor Society – Attention ALL SNHS members. This is a reminder that our bagel bar has been moved to the week of midterms. It will NOT be this week. More information will be sent out so please check your Remind messages!
