Maximo Walters is a junior at Marco Island Academy and a Staff Writer for The Wave. He spends most of his time working out and going fishing, and likes to skim board. In addition to that, he enjoys spending time with friends and family. Something interesting about Maximo is that he recently became an uncle at the age of 15. When Maximo graduates from MIA, he plans to attend college, though he is still uncertain of what major he wants to pursue.

Gavin Pascale is a junior at Marco Island Academy and a Staff Writer for The Wave. In his free time, Gavin enjoys fishing, surfing, and hanging out with friends. He loves anything to do with the ocean, and sometimes he is too laid back. After high school, he plans to study marine science and take over his father's business.
