Emma Nash, Editor-in-Chief
Emma Nash is a senior at Marco Island Academy and the Editor-in-Chief for The Wave. In her free time, Emma enjoys getting pre-sales for her favorite artists on tour and getting snubbed every time. Emma enjoys going to the beach with her friends and spending all her money on Starbucks. Emma plans to attend college after graduating to study Sports Management or Journalism.
Lauren Riley, Executive Editor
Lauren Riley is a senior at Marco Island Academy and the Executive Editor for The Wave. Lauren dreams of winning the lottery so she never has to work a day in her life, but realistically she plans to attend college majoring in business management. In her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends, buying clothes, and complaining about not having enough clothes.
Skylar Siems, Managing Editor
Skylar Siems is a senior at Marco Island Academy and Managing Editor for The Wave. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, and hibernating in her room. She loves spending way too much money on clothes and coffee, or at least when she has that type of money. After high school she plans on attending college but isn’t sure what she wants to do just yet!
Cassie Letendre, Sports Editor
Cassie Letendre is a senior and the Sports Editor of The Wave. When she is not bugging Scalia or throwing baskets on the field, she is going on long drives and listening to unhealthy amounts of Chappell Roan and Olivia Rodrigo. She also loves watching Taco Bell and Wingstop mukbangs on TikTok. Cassie's dream is to be an NFL General Manager and she hopes to attend a Florida university this fall to help acquire that dream.
Noa Batlle, Entertainment Editor
Noa Batlle is a senior and the Entertainment Editor for The Wave. In her free you’ll find her at the beach, or spending money she swore she was going to start saving. After high school she plans on attending college to major in criminal justice or psychology.
Jayden Wampler, News Editor
Jayden Wampler is a senior at Marco Island Academy and the News Editor for The Wave. He has gone to school on Marco Island his entire school tenure and has lived in Collier County his entire life. He aspires to go to college in-state when he finishes high school and may pursue a degree in business to make a handsome amount of money.
Lola Green, Opinions Editor
Lola Green is a junior at Marco Island Academy and the Opinions Editor for The Mia Wave. When she's not at school, you can find her shopping until she has no more money or listening to her favorite artists while stuffing her face with sweets. Lola plans to attend college but is not sure where.
Mia Berryman, Arts Editor
Mia Berryman is a freshman at Marco Island Academy and is the Arts Editor for The Wave. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, hiding out in her room, and watching all kinds of movies. Although she is the only freshman in the class she is ready to embrace the challenging and fun moments.
Jordan Rodden, Associate Editor
Jordan Rodden is a junior at Marco Island Academy and an Associate Editor for The Wave. Jordan dreams of owning his own business in construction and following in his dad’s footsteps by attending FSU. In his free time, Jordan enjoys fishing and working as he likes to make money and be able to have the opportunity to spend it on unnecessary items such as his rims and tires.
