Good morning Marco Island Academy, today is Wednesday, SEPTEMBER 27, 2023, and these are your morning announcements!
General Announcements:
Powderpuff: We are almost ready to ruuuuuuuuuuuumble! Anyone interested in playing in the Powderpuff game needs to have turned in their consent forms, paid their dues, and have a physical on file by this Friday. All forms should be turned in to Mrs. Ray. If you ain’t got no physical, you ain’t got no game!!!!!!
Homecoming: Spend a night in Greece!! Get your tickets starting October 2nd for the MIA Homecoming Dance. Ticket sales start at $80 and then go up to $100 the week of homecoming, so make sure you get them as soon as possible. They will be sold during A and B lunches. Homecoming is October 21st, so save the date to dance your way through the night and be a dancing queen!! Reminder: guest forms are at the front desk. Ask Mrs. Kraft for one if needed.
Wynne’s Warriors:. Today Key Club will continue selling baked goods at lunch BOGO buy one get one free! Key Club officers will be around today during mentoring to sell support bracelets for $1.00 today. Don’t forget your purple on Friday!
Spirit Week: Spirit week starts October 17th!!! Get ready to dress up to show off your school spirit, creativity, and excitement for the MIA Homecoming Dance.
Yearbook: Remember that Junior portraits start today; be ready to smile in the spotlight.
Athletics:
Volleyball: Great job to our lady ladies for beating the shamrocks of Donahue High School in three sets. Tonight, our Lady Rays battle the gators of Everglades High School at 6:00pm at our home court. Don’t forget to support the girls by wearing your best tie-dye!
