Announcements

Good morning Marco Island Academy, it is Tuesday, SEPTEMBER 19, 2023, and these are your morning announcements!   

General Announcements: 

Yearbook: FRESHMAN yearbook portraits are today. They will be held on the stage inside the gymnasium. Your teacher will accompany you, so listen up for instructions. Make sure to smile!! Sophomore pictures begin tomorrow, and remember, don’t wear light blue or gray!  

Job Opportunity: Cocomo’s Grill is hiring. They are in need of two hostesses and a food runner. Please apply in person if you are interested. 

Activities: 

SGA: Let’s get ready to ruuuuuuummmmmmmmmble!!! It is Powderpuff time! The duel between pink and blue is back and will be played on October 18th.  Ladies interested in playing and gentlemen interested in cheering them on, please join us for an interest meeting THIS Thursday, September 21st, after school in Mrs. Walther’s Room, room 137. 

Athletics: 

Football: Our first football home game is this Friday against the Eagles of Warner Christian High School at 7:00pm. Can’t wait to see you there. 

Soccer: There is a girls soccer interest meeting  TODAY after school in Señor’s room. The boys soccer interest meeting will be next Tuesday, the 26th. Go Rays!
