A Recipe for Success

The club’s goals are to help students learn how to prepare recipes, learn consistency, and overall: foster an ability to cook. They do this through the most anticipated part of the club: food exchange. Students submit the recipes they like and, later that day, cook them at home. The next day, they bring in their dishes to share with the rest of the club. It works as a give-and-take system, where students may only receive food if they bring in food for the rest of the club.

The club members also meet once a week to discuss their favorite recipes and what other dishes they would like to see more of in the future. It’s a great opportunity for club members to become accustomed to new foods and also pushes them out of their comfort zone in terms of trying new foods and cooking in general.
