Boy’s Basketball Update

Since MIA has opened its doors, the varsity boys basketball team has been the most successful athletic program for the school. This year, the basketball program is coached by Jim Watt and features team leaders, seniors Shamus Coyle and John Boxma. So far they have rattled off an impressive 12 wins and 6 losses while playing competitive teams and hard fought games. 

On Friday, January 20th, they played against The Village School of Naples for their senior night to celebrate seniors Shamus Coyle, John Boxma, Benji Beightol, and Daniel Donaldson.

The Rays have their final home game on Monday, January 23rd, against Mason Classical Academy. The end of the season is near for the Rays but they are looking for another PCAC title after back to back wins of Donahue in the 2022 and 2021 PCAC championship game the Rays must be ready to defend their title.
