Kathryn Barry, Sports Editor
Kathryn Barry is a junior at Marco Island Academy and the Sports Editor for The Wave. She is a Marco Island native as well as an athlete, who runs track and is a captain of the Marco Island Academy girl’s basketball team. She loves to travel; her favorite destinations include the mountains out west and the Pacific Coast. These places stimulate her love for art, as she loves to paint and photograph the places as she goes. Kathryn plans to pursue a medical degree and become a specialist in immunology or dermatology. She has earned the nickname “Cacti” because of her water drinking habits, or lack thereof.
