Cassandra Scalia, Editor in Chief
Cassandra Scalia is a senior at Marco Island Academy and is the Editor-in-Chief of The Wave. She has been involved in the journalism program at MIA since her freshman year. Growing up in New York, she oftentimes would participate in writing and journalism-based clubs and extracurricular activities. Having had senioritis since the 6th grade, she is more than ready to graduate in May and make the transition to higher education. She is planning to attend Florida State University and to major in Social Sciences with a focus on public policy.
