Senior Spotlight: Angel Bartlett
Angel Bartlett can definitely be considered a big part of Marco Island Academy’s social community, and for good reason. She has said that “Marco Island Academy is like my second home, I come to school and I’m genuinely happy. I don’t think I could imagine going anywhere else for high school because this was definitely a once in a lifetime experience.” She also credits Ms. Scott and all of the administration who have made this an incredible opportunity for her to get to be in the MIA family.
As a part of the Lady Rays cheerleading squad, she’s one of the most dedicated to her job. She’s a big part in helping the volleyball, football and other teams around the school thrive in what they do.
When Angel is not in school, she loves to sing regularly and also finds joy in baking and reading. Other activities she loves to do involve traveling with her family and making fun new memories in the process. She credits her mother, Karen, who usually spends a lot of time with her and shaped her into the person she is today. She also loves going to museums and learning about historical stuff that really interests her.
After Angel graduates in 2022, she wants to have an occupation in the medical field. She also plans to minor in either anthropology or philosophy because she loves observing others and how much we’ve become as a society, while also retaining a love for the sciences in general. All in all, Angel Bartlett wants to continue her goal of just trying to stay happy every day and live life to the fullest.
