General Announcements

Hey Juniors – Don’t forget to check out the updates in your Class’ Google Classroom!  It’s never too early to start prepping for the SAT, especially the free one that will be offered on our campus on Wednesday, March 2, which is coming up NEXT WEEK!

Athletics: 
Baseball:  Come out and help us roar back against the Lions of FBA Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m.at Tommie Barfield. Tickets are $2 for students! 

Tennis:  Good luck to our boys’ and girls’ tennis teams tomorrow. Our Rays take on the Bears of Palmetto Ridge High School. The boys are home and the girls are away. 

Track:  Good luck to our track team tomorrow at Naples High School!                                                  Go Rays!

Activities:  

Spanish National Honor Society: We don’t talk about Bruno, no, no, no…did somebody say Encanto?!  That’s right! It’s movie night! Spanish Honor Society is hosting a free movie night this  Thursday, February 24th, at 6 pm on the lookout lounge! In the case of inclement weather, the event will move to the student mezzanine.  Tickets are FREE and will be available starting on Tuesday! We will also have snacks and drinks for sale! See you there!

Manta Motors: Rev your engines! The MIA car club, Manta Motors, will be having their first meeting next Monday after school. Join for car talk, car meets, and more. Don’t be running late!

The Little Mermaid: The Little Mermaid rehearsals resume today with a Mer-sister rehearsal. The rest of the week is full cast for now.  Please check Band for any updates, especially since many cast members haven’t been interacting with the app the last few days.

Stage Crew will be needed starting this week, so see Mr. Dayett for more details on what is needed.

Thespians: We are exactly 3 weeks away from the State competition. Now is the time to start rehearsing and perfecting your pieces. Bad Wisdom – now is the time to dust off your scripts and get ready to rehearse! Friday is the last Thespian meeting before the competition, so bring all of your questions and any outstanding payments. Updates on Band will begin this week as well, so make sure you have your notifications turned on.
