Laws of Life Semi-Finalists

Three students at Marco Island Academy have moved on to the semifinals stage for the Laws of Life essay contest.
Senior Haylen Irvan, and juniors Kathryn Barry and Isabella Portu will verbally present their essay in the form of a speech to a board of judges. Here, their presentation will be judged on its focus, organization, elaboration, and conventions.
Semifinalist Haylen Irvan stated that she was “looking forward to competing in the speech portion of the competition.”
The semifinalist continued by stating that it would be “an honor to read my coach’s story for others. I am grateful for this opportunity.”
