FCA

 Fellowship for Christian Athletes is a faith-based club in which MIA students can gather and be a part of a short bible study before the school day starts. FCA was first brought to MIA by Nancy Chamberlin, who ran the club for about 5 years. Kyle Rahtjen took over the club back in the Spring of 2021. 

   Kyle was a teacher for over 9 years and is now the youth and worship leader at Christ Community Naples church. When asked why he wanted to lead FCA, Kyle said, “I wanted to get more involved with students on the island and continue to grow the program Nancy began.” 

   FCA meets every Thursday morning at 7:45 AM. Donuts are provided each week by Kyle to kick off the meeting. FCA will occasionally join together with the youth of Christ Community Naples church in events such as Christmas caroling, and a few beach days.
