Good morning Marco Island Academy, it is TUESDAY, March 9th, and these are your morning announcements!

Athletics:
Baseball:   Our boys played a great game against Mason Classical last night, winning 11-1. Come cheer them on Thursday night as they host Immokalee High School at 5 p.m.

Tennis:  Good luck to our girls’ tennis team who travel to Seacrest tomorrow!

Track:  Good luck to our track teams as they compete at Barron Collier tomorrow!

SPIRIT WEEK continues this week, and we hope to see everyone in his or her best mathlete, athlete, or both!!

Tomorrow, show us your finest teacher attire and dress like a teacher!

Talent Show:   What’s your hidden talent? Are you a magician, musician, singer, dancer, or even gymnast?  Well then, it’s time to step into the spotlight and share it with your MIA family. Please see Mr. Swope if interested in auditioning for the Marco Island Academy Talent Showcase.

Art Club:   BREAKING NEWS!  MIA Arts teacher Mr. Eder was awarded 2nd place in a Members Only Exhibit at the Marco Island Center for the Arts.  The Artwork will be on display for the entire month of March.  Please help him celebrate by attending the reception this evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
