Senior Spotlight: Zeke Morris

Zeke Morris has been a soccer player for the MIA soccer team for 3 years but has played sports since a young age. As a starter on the team he practices for 2 hours everyday in hopes of bettering himself for his team.

Besides soccer, he also participates in football, baseball, track & field, and cross country. In his own time he participates in boxing, karate, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo. His motto is “Our blood, our sweat, your tears. Go after your goals. Every play every day. One team, One dream.”

Besides various physical activities Zeke is also interested in the arts. As Zeke reflects back on some of his fondest memories at MIA he said, “I made Miss. Scott a Manta Ray Photo for her my freshman year. The photo is still hanging on her door.” In his four years at MIA Zeke’s favorite class has been photography with Mr. Eder. His interests center around feeding his love for creativity and a hands on work place.

After many art projects and creative inspirations in his high school years he hopes to attend Miami Dade College to get his degree as an electrician but is also considering becoming a professional tattoo artist. As he looks forward to college he will miss Marco Island Academy and the friends he has made along the way.
