Senior Spotlight: Morgan Maile

 Morgan Maile has been on the girls varsity soccer team and varsity volleyball team since her freshman year at Marco Island Academy. She has been interested in soccer for as long as she can remember, and actively participated since she was 6 years old. This season she has played in 13 out of the 14 games and consistently practices Monday through Friday, for about 2 hours every day. 

She said, “my favorite part of this sport is how it teaches you life-long lessons like determination and never quitting while getting a great workout.” Morgan enjoys soccer more as a sport but also enjoys the life lessons she learns while playing as a team. Her favorite team quote is, “our blood, our sweat, your tears.”

Morgan doesn’t plan on playing soccer after high school. She hopes to be accepted into FGCU or Lynn University. She plans to major in business at FGCU and hopefully becoming a successful entrepreneur with her own business.
