- Space Mountain: Zipping through the stars, becoming an astronaut, and flying in a rocket, are all part of this experience. Disney opened Space Mountain in the “Tomorrowland” section of the Magic Kingdom on January 15, 1975. Being one of the only thrill rides in Magic Kingdom, this ride was an instant hit and has continued to be a fan-favorite year after year. This rollercoaster may only go up to 27 mph, but it sure feels faster in the dark!
- Soarin’ Around The World: This one-of-a-kind attraction at Disney’s Epcot, is so immersive, you’ll feel like you need Airline service! Soarin Around The World (most popularly known as Soarin’) is a hang glider-type ride that makes you really feel like you’re flying. Opening in 2001, Soarin’ Over California was a definite favorite in Epcot, as it provided a calming but exciting ride over the beautiful state of California. However, in 2016, Soarin’ Over California was replaced with Soarin’ Over The World, which took passengers on a flight over world landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, The Great Wall of China, Sydney Harbour in Australia, and so much more! This one definitely makes our list!
- Pirates Of The Caribbean: This one may be old-fashioned to some, but this ride certainly packs a punch! Though it may not be the most thrilling, high-tech, or exhilarating, Pirates of The Caribbean is one of the Magic Kingdom’s original attractions and has seen so many renovations over the years to keep the magic alive. Opening in 1973, this dark boat ride through the world of pirates and the now, the story of Captain Jack Sparrow, has captured the hearts of Disney fans young and old. This ride not only is fun, but it also brought rise to the song “Yo Ho A Pirate’s Life For Me”. That’ll be stuck in your head for hours.
- Avatar: Flight Of Passage: Being one of Disney’s newest attractions, Flight of Passage is definitely a high-tech journey through the world of Avatar. This ride lets you ride on the back of a Banshee through the land of Pandora. It is worth every second in the wait line and will not disappoint. In reality, you’re sitting on a motorcycle-like vehicle staring at a screen, but when transformed into a real avatar, you feel like you’ve entered a whole new planet! Disney’s Animal Kingdom debuted James Cameron’s Avatar-themed land in 2017 and along with it came this awesome ride!
- Rock n’ Rollercoaster By Aerosmith: Late to your concert? No biggie, the iconic band Aerosmith has a super fast limo to make sure you make it on time! Built in 1999, this thrill ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is sure to make you feel like a rockstar! Rock n’ Rollercoaster is an indoor roller coaster based on the timeless band Aerosmith. It is the only roller coaster in Disney to feature inversions and it is the fastest coaster in Disney! The ride vehicles are made to look like super stretch limos that take you through the scenic routes of Hollywood in the dark!
