Marco Island Academy football game scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025, has been cancelled.
The Spartans of Miami Country Day School were forced to forfeit the game because they could not field a team this week.
Friday’s game was scheduled to be Senior Night for both the football and cheer teams.
MIA is looking to schedule an additional home game on October 24. Senior Night festivities will be held during halftime.
With the forfeit, MIA’s record rises to 2-4.
