What is Ray’s Praise?
Ray’s Praise is an opportunity for students at MIA to show their appreciation for others. Whether it’s a classmate, teacher, or another staff member, these praises offer us a chance to our respect and admiration for someone which will certainly brighten their day.
Ayleen Abin: Ayleen is deserving of a praise because she is my best friend. She never fails to make me smile and is an AMAZING listener. I couldn’t imagine life without her.
Blake Young: He is so funny and always makes my morning entertaining.
Mr. Miller: He put up a good effort in our 1v1.
He’s a cool and strong man.
Catherine Taddei: Very smart individual.
Noah Smith: He has very great personal growth, both in the classroom and on the field.
Mrs. Westervelt: She is always excited and upbeat early in the morning and gets everyone ready for the day.
She is always upbeat and excited in the morning and helps us start the day with a good vibe.
Amelia Skender: She is the sweetest person I know, and she is absolutely gorgeous. She never fails to make me smile and I love our sweet treats and car rides together.
Genesis Aguilera-Bustillo: I love eating with her. All we ever do is eat.
Mr. Scalia: He is an outstanding teacher and a truly bright soul.
Hutch Hamilton: Hutch is so tuff and treats everyone with respect.

Mrs. Dickson: Mrs. Dickson is the best math teacher ever, and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met!! She’s the best!
Isabella Groves: She is a kind soul and an amazing person. She is always fun to be around and never fails to put a smile on my face.
Melanie Zarate-Centeno: She is kind and a natural born leader. She is also the co-president of the Spanish Honor Society
Owen Diehl: Owen is such a funny person and great to be around. He is truly a wonderful person!
Mia Berryman: She is a kind person and always a joy to be around.
Dr. Lombardi: She is dedicated to her classes, making sure everyone is learning and always pays attention to her kids. She received her doctorate becoming an role model to students while being a teacher at MIA full time, showing that nothing is impossible.
Brandi Preuss: She’s a great friend and always eager to help out another student. She’s very kind and encouraging as well!
Officer Ashby: He’s the most amazing officer.
He is the best officer and always trying to keep us safe.
