Yesterday Marco Island Academy held their first ever Invitational Golf Tournament. The teams that were invited were Barron Collier, Village School, Community School, First Baptist Academy, and Southwest Florida Christian. It was an 18 hole event.
Barron Collier won the championship with 286 strokes. Marco Island Academy came in fifth with 336 strokes. It ended up being an all day event with the beautiful sunny skies. The first place medallist was Kieran Shaw, he is a freshman at Village School he shot 66. But leading the Rays Kaden Latrell ended as a 3rd place medallist and shot 69.
