Marketing MIA 2025

This Wednesday on January 29th, MIA is hosting an enrollment night for all students and families interested in attending MIA.

To share information about MIA and everything the school offers Mr. Scalia’s AICE English Language classes were tasked with creating posters and short commercials. The goal of these advertisements were to help convince students and families interested in attending Marco Island Academy.

In groups of 2-4 students came up with clever slogans, designed commercials and constructed posters to help persuade students to enroll at MIA. Within this project students were tasked with including equal parts ethos, logos, pathos and kairos.

Throughout both the posters and video advertisements many students chose to include information on MIA’s various compelling features. From champion sports teams, student-led clubs and FLDOE A-Rated school, are just a few MIA statistics that students implemented into their presentation.

These adverts aimed to convince prospect students by displaying MIA’s most compelling features.
