Night of Nights
As the fall semester is soon coming to an end, students are getting ready for one of the most unforgettable events of the year: Homecoming. With the theme “Night of Nights,” this year’s homecoming promises to be an unforgettable event.
The theme, “Night of Nights” brings to mind neon colors, starlit skies, and great memories to happen. Our MIA students and staff have worked so hard to transform the country club into a room worthy of hosting the event. The decorations will glow in the dark stares, shimmering fabrics, and a colorful color scheme that’s sure to make it worthy going.
“We want everyone to feel like this is a night where they can truly shine.” as stated, by event planner, Mrs. Ray.
Following tradition, the homecoming game will be one of the highlights of this homecoming week. MIA’s football team is set to face off against Gateway Charter in a game that’s gonna have our students excited and buzzing all week. With our community showing up in full support, the field will be packed with students.
Homecoming isn’t just about the game and dance, it’s a weeklong school spirit event as well. Throughout the week, MIA students will participate in themed days, pep rallies, and sports events. “Everyone comes together, and there’s this incredible energy that makes you proud to be a Ray.” says Layla Platt, a senior in MIA, who’s been a part of homecoming week for the past three years.
A Farewell to Seniors
For many seniors, this homecoming will mark their last, making it a bittersweet event. As they prepare to say goodbye to their high school years, “Night of Nights” offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate friendships, accomplishments, and their journey ahead. Whether it’s the homecoming court, the crowning of the King and Queen, or just dancing under the stars. As MIA prepares for a spectacular homecoming, students can expect nothing less than a magical, unforgettable “Night of Nights.”
