On Thursday, January 4th, our Lady Rays hosted Southwest Florida Christian Academy on our very own soccer field. Our girls took the win against the Kings with the final score of 2-1.
Our Rays played an amazing game, even after incorporating a new defensive lineup after the rough game the night before. Paisley Pappa had an amazing assist to Hannah Saad during the second half of the game and Iran took a nice shot into the bottom right of the goal right past the goalie. These two goals allowed our Lady Rays to win the game 2-1. Our goalie Annie Guidry was on fire last night with multiple saved goals as well.
The team will be up against The Village School of Naples Knights for MIA’s senior night on Monday, January 8th at 4 P.M. Come out to support our Lady Ray seniors!
