The MIA Lady Rays Volleyball team pounded the Bears at Palmetto Ridge High School in five sets. The girls put up a tremendous amount of effort and dedication to this game and it showed in the final scores that tallied 25-22, 21-26, 26-28, 25-19, and 15-6.
Leading the Lady Rays in this match was Medney Garraux who notched a score of 25 digs, four aces, and 24 kills, and Rylee Howard who had a pair of aces, one dig, and 11 kills. There also was Madison Stolinas who had 12 digs, one ace, and one kill, and Sophia Ogdin played her best game yet having 12 digs and a pair of aces. Not far behind was Jayden Ragan who had 12 digs, a pair of aces, and eight kills, and Jayden Ragan with eight digs, four aces, and nine kills.
Tomorrow the Lady Rays head to the Community School of Naples to play the Eagles. They are determined to do anything to win.
