The girl’s volleyball teams had a recent home game on Tuesday, August 22nd. This was a thrilling game for the girls, who put up a fight against the Community School of Naples. The girls fought hard and demonstrated great sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the game. Unfortunately, they fell short in the first set with a score of 16-25, a second set score of 13-25, and a third set score of 19-25. However, the team put up a great fight and is ready to dominate their next game.
The MIA girl’s volleyball team starts their season off with a bash. The team is led by head coach Alyssa Stolinas and Rich Costante. Practices are held after school Monday through Friday ranging from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday practices are held from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The girls practice hard, and that shows on the court during their games.
