Remember When: Kids TV Shows

1. Wonder Pets! 

What child doesn’t like animated shows of talking animals? This one was released in 2006 and featured a cute guinea pig, duckling, and turtle who traveled around the world to help fellow animals.

2. Wild Kratts

Released in 2011, this fun educational show was for child animal lovers and presented animals from all over the world. It featured the popular Kratt brothers, who put in a fun twist when it came to educating children about animals! This show is still going on strong today.

3. Yo Gabba Gabba!

This musical and magical show of 5 silly monsters and a fun DJ made its debut in 2007. It helped kids with daily life lessons and skills through catchy songs and fun visuals. Children had their eyes glued to the screen with its mixture of real life action and animation.

4. Word Girl

Its first appearance came in 2007, and both educated and entertained children. The main character, Word Girl, had superhuman strength and powers along with a love for vocabulary.  Her goal was to defeat bad guys alongside her monkey sidekick!

5. Curious George

This was a book that came to life and made into a silly animated cartoon of a curious and energetic monkey, ready to know more about the world. Curiosity, however, comes with consequences as this little monkey often comes face-to-face with mishaps. This show teaches us to embrace our curiosity while being responsible when exploring a thing we’re unsure of. Like the Wild Kratts, it’s still going strong!
