Senior Spotlight: Sahara Brown

Sahara Brown is a senior at Marco Island Academy. One of her many skills is her ability to sing. Since she was 7, Sahara was into musical theater, and just performing in general. Later in her senior years, she joined the Thespian Society at MIA. 

As of now, Sahara’s favorite musical is Dear Evan Hansen. Sahara’s favorite memories at MIA include her trips to different districts, and singing with her morning mentoring teacher, Mr. Totten. 

Apart from being a Thespian, Sahara also likes to sing for fun. After school, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and singing.

After high school, Sahara would like to go to Belmont University in Nashville. Sahara is not planning on continuing her Thespian career. At Belmont University, she is planning to major in criminal justice and minor in music. Wherever she goes, we know she’ll be successful.
