Marco Island Academy’s eleventh graders were recently challenged to create advertisements in their AICE English Language class. The students had to create a video under 45 seconds that catered to incoming students and their parents. English instructor, Keith Scalia, measured the effectiveness of their advertisement through rhetorical appeals. Ethos, pathos, logos, and kairos were all incorporated throughout the student’s ads.
