Key Club Happenings

Chris Lewandowski, Staff Writer

On the morning of Sunday February 9th, the Marco Island Academy Key Club attended the inter club Vanderbilt Beach clean up that started at 8:30am and ran until 11:30 am.

Key Club members and members of the public worked tirelessly to help clean up our beaches and keep them clean for everyone to be able to enjoy, all the while paying it forward and giving back to their community, who supports them day after day.

Having kids from MIA’s Key Club in addition to kids from other schools’ Key Clubs interact with each other allowed their relationships to grow and expand among each other.

On Thursday, The Marco Island Academy Key Club will continue their normally scheduled meeting while participating in the voting process to elect their new Key Club president.

This Saturday, come out to Veterans Park to the Car Show and come support the Marco Island Academy Key Club, who will be volunteering and selling root beer floats!
