Got Spirit?
Spirit week is a time where schools can come together and express their school spirit through wearing certain clothing on days. MIA had our first spirit week this year during homecoming and we are having another one next week winter-related. Mrs. Meanor said that it is important to “build school spirit and to get students to be involved with school activities.” What could be more fun than getting students to all become involved in the same activity?
Monday 12/11 – Snow Day White Out (Don’t worry, there’s still school!)
Tuesday 12/12 – Swinter (Welcome to Southwest Florida where winter doesn’t exist!)
Wednesday 12/13 – Kris Kringle character day (Don’t be afraid to let your nose glow!)
Thursday 12/14 – Ugly sweater day (Wear it loud! Wear it proud!)
Friday 12/15 – Pajama day (Don’t fall asleep during class! Though it’s tempting.)
Eat some cookies, share some laughs, and show your school spirit next week and try to out-spirit the staff! Let’s get ready for the holiday season!
